Velocity Community Credit Union is looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our team!
Responsibilities of the Business Development Specialis are:
1. Develops business from existing partnerships, sponsorships and relationships through promotions, open enrollments meetings, and new orientation programs. Develops and maintains a productive relationship with representatives. Responsible for resolving problems with that may arise.
2. Establish and develop business from new business alliances and various community events.
3. Uncover and participate in various Financial Literacy events throughout the calendar year.
4. Track, measure, and report on business development efforts, sales, and events
5. Work directly with the Marketing Department on projects that enhance our ability to reach new members through business development.
6. Represent the Credit Union at various functions to develop business relationships.
Job Requirements:
- Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
- (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
- Strong organizational skills
- Must have good communication skills, including written, verbal, and public speaking. Must have sales skills and be self-motivated.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
