- Shipment Management: Oversee the movement of goods, from origin to destination, ensuring all shipments are handled efficiently and delivered on time.
- Cost Control: Monitor and analyze logistics costs, negotiate rates with carriers, and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
- Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and coordinate with warehouse personnel to maintain stock accuracy.
- Vendor & Carrier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customers to arrange pick-ups, track shipments, and resolve any issues.
- Data Management: Maintain precise and up-to-date records of shipments, inventory, and transportation costs.
- Financial Processes: Finalize revenues, process invoices, and ensure accurate financial tracking of logistics-related costs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
