Job Description
Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment as a Forklift Operator. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of shipping, receiving, and material handling for fire protection and safety supplies.
Responsibilities
- Identify, pull, package, label, and verify materials for accuracy.
- Receive warehouse deliveries, maintain vendor relationships, and accurately place materials into stock.
- Pick items from pick lists, ensure order accuracy, and prepare them for shipping.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving.
- Proficiency with sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift certification or experience preferred.
- Previous inventory management experience.
- Flexibility and willingness to assist with various tasks.
- Bilingual skills are advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a smaller warehouse setting without air conditioning, alongside a small team of less than 10 staff members. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. The role is based at the Pompano Beach Office of Quality Fabrication & Supply.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pompano Beach, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
