ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
Ive been a State Farm agent for 37 years, having opened my agency in 1988 after spending seven years working in claims. Im a Gardner-Webb University graduate with a business major and a minor in music, and Im also the board chair for Henderson Behavioral Healththe largest nonprofit mental health provider in Broward County, serving more than 28,000 people each year. Im a parent to two millennial children, and I believe deeply in giving back and staying connected to the community.

My office runs on a work hard, play harder philosophy. Were a friendly, diverse team of six, and I offer paid vacation and holidays, along with a retirement plan that includes matching funds. david cooley - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
