Searching for a full time person, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the companion animal field. Must be competent with blood draws, catheter placements, and animal restraint.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing compassionate care and handling of animals, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, utilizing knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology.
- Performing animal restraint techniques to facilitate examinations and procedures.
- Administering medications and vaccinations as directed, while monitoring animal health and behavior.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and assist in laboratory tests as needed.
- Educating pet owners on proper pet care and health maintenance.
