About Us:
Revive Restoration is a trusted restoration company specializing in water, fire, mold, storm damage restoration, reconstruction and specialty cleaning (carpets, tile and upholstery). We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, fast response times, excellent communication and customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Restoration Technician to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The Lead Restoration Technician is responsible for overseeing restoration projects from start to finish, leading and training junior technicians, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership skills, and strong communication with customers and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise restoration crews on job sites
- Perform water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration services
- Assess damage and determine appropriate restoration plans
- Set up and monitor drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.)
- Construct tight, long lasting, presentable containments
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
- Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, and supervisors
- Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, and reports
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
- Train and mentor junior technicians
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in restoration or related field
- IICRC certifications (WRT required; ASD, AMRT, FSRT preferred)
- Experience in setting containments
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
- On-call availability for emergencies (rotating schedule)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software
- Knowledge of insurance restoration processes
- Bilingual abilities a plus (but not required)
