Location: Naples, FL (On-site | Independent K–12 School / Non-Profit Educational Institution)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round


About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a professional, welcoming, and detail-oriented Receptionist to support the Admissions Department at a non-profit, independent K–12 school in Naples, FL. This position serves as the first point of contact for prospective families, students, and visitors, making exceptional customer service and professionalism essential.

The ideal candidate thrives in a structured, school-based environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and is comfortable handling administrative responsibilities such as data entry, scheduling, and document management. This role plays a vital part in creating a positive and efficient admissions experience for families.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist prospective families, students, and visitors with professionalism and warmth
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls, emails, and admissions inquiries
  • Maintain front desk coverage and support smooth daily office operations
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain student and applicant records
  • Schedule admissions appointments, school tours, and interviews
  • Prepare, organize, and process admissions-related documentation
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for correspondence and reporting
  • Collaborate with admissions staff and other departments as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures


Qualifications

Required

  • Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • High attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to pass a Level II background check
  • Fingerprinting required

Preferred

  • Previous experience in independent schools or educational settings
  • Familiarity with admissions processes or student information systems
  • Experience working in non-profit K–12 environments
  • Bilingual abilities (a plus, not required)
