Commercial Printers, Inc., a family-owned commercial printing and direct mail company, is seeking a detail-oriented Mailing Data Specialist to support our mailing, data processing, and production operations. This role is critical to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across complex mailing campaigns where each piece of mail may be unique.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and collaborating with production and customer service teams in a fast-paced print environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, clean, and prepare mailing lists and variable data for direct mail production.
• Run data checks for accuracy, duplicates, formatting, and USPS compliance.
• Perform CASS, NCOA, presort, and address standardization as required.
• Set up and manage variable data files for printing and mailing workflows.
• Collaborate with prepress, production, and customer service teams to ensure mail readiness.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues prior to print and mailing.
• Maintain organized records of mailing jobs, data files, and documentation.
• Ensure projects meet internal quality standards and mailing deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with mailing data, direct mail processing, or print production preferred.
• Strong attention to detail — ability to spot errors in large, complex datasets.
• Comfortable working with Excel, CSV files, and BCC mailing software.
• Understanding of USPS regulations, presort, and mailing best practices is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented mindset.
