The Grove, Pizza Cucina & Wine Bar in Hobe Sound, FL, a Wine Spectator award winning concept is looking for one hands-on sous chef to join our 18 person strong team. We are located on 8815 SE Bridge Road. Our ideal candidate is a team-player, attentive, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop team members to company standards
• Cook on the line according to business demands.
• Assist Chef accordance with business needs.
• Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly
• Coordinate scheduling of BOH staff and in admin functions as directed by leadership.
• Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards

Qualifications

• Experience working as a head line cook, sous chef or chef
• High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
• Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
• Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume
