We are one of the world’s leading suppliers of sacrificial anodes for cathodic protection in the following markets: leisure boat, shipping & offshore applications. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality products with excellent service. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant who is dependable, hardworking, and comfortable in a physically demanding (and fully air conditioned) environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming marine parts and products
- Assemble marine anodes to meet stock requirements and fill customer orders (includes using an air compressor)
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy (ground shipments and freight).
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe warehouse environment
- Support warehouse management to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 - 75 lbs.) on a fairly regular basis
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
- Work closely with sales and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or stockroom experience preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work on your feet throughout the day
- Experience with shipping & receiving processes is essential.
- Attention to detail and basic math skills
- Comfortable using barcode scanners and computer inventory systems
- Forklift experience is strongly preferred (certification a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
