Salary: $50,000yr - $55,000yr

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Full Time)
The Permitting Supervisor supervises the Renewal by Andersen of Florida Permitting Department and is responsible for ensuring that each job has the correct permits necessary for projected job starts. They are also responsible for the oversight of inspection scheduling in conjunction with each permit issued to our company to perform work. Additionally, this role involves meticulous record-keeping and acts as a liaison between Go Permits and Inspected.com while maintaining all permit-related information.
Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete permit processes for all window and door replacements in partnership with Go Permits.

Manage the performance and expectations of the permit team, including training and development.

Facilitate effective communication between departments and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures related to permit documents and record keeping.

Conduct weekly Microsoft Teams meetings with permit staff and quarterly visits to each RbA Location to ensure adherence to processes and establish relationships at the location level.

Schedule and track inspections in partnership with Go Permits and Inspected.com.

Address permit-related application issues, holds, and inspection challenges promptly.

Ensure accountability for permit-related credit card and check transactions.

Coordinate the renewal of business tax receipts, contractor licenses, and insurance certificates in partnership with Go Permits.

Maintain municipality registrations and permit renewals in partnership with Go Permits.
Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
-
At least 2yrs of Permitting & Inspection Experience
-
At least 1yr of Supervisory/Leadership Experience

Previous or Current Notary Status is Preferred

Computer Literate – Experience with Microsoft Office Applications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
