Job DescriptionWork Type Full time, onsite, direct hire $60k/year Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance options/401k match options/PTO and sick time Responsibilities
- Review project scope with Project Managers to understand job?specific requirements
- Establish and maintain communication with key customer contacts at the start of each project
- Set up and manage initial work orders accurately
- Generate, review, and finalize weekly project invoices in coordination with Project Managers
- Analyze project invoicing for timekeeping errors, material purchase issues, and discrepancies prior to customer submission
- Assist Project Managers with tracking and resolving outstanding receivables
- Provide bi?weekly cash flow forecasts to the Controller
- Support month?end financial close by analyzing projects completed under or over budget
- Review subcontractor and material markups against proposals and identify variances
- Analyze causes of project cost and material variances and report findings
- Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or finance
- Strong analytical and problem?solving skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities, interruptions, and tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly and professionally
- High level of organization and multitasking ability
- Customer/client service mindset
- Proficient computer skills and comfort working with financial and project data
- Ability to interpret information across multiple dimensions (financial, operational, project?based)
- Positive, upbeat, and professional demeanor
- Marine or manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
