Position Summary:
The Data Entry Clerk supports the accurate and timely input of client information into various databases, primarily the Client Information and Registration Tracking System (CIRTS), in connection with services provided to elderly individuals through state and federally funded programs. The individual in this position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, ensuring proper documentation of client assessments, and supporting program compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Accurately enter client assessment data and service information into CIRTS and other assigned databases.
· Verify and cross-check information for completeness, consistency, and compliance with data standards.
· Work closely with case managers, assessors, and intake staff to ensure all necessary documents and forms are provided for data entry.
· Flag and report discrepancies, missing information, or errors to the appropriate staff.
· Meet all data entry deadlines as set by program guidelines and supervisor.
· Maintain the confidentiality and security of all client information in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
· Assist with generating reports or retrieving data from CIRTS as needed by program staff.
· Participate in relevant trainings to stay current with database updates and data entry protocols.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry, clerical work, or administrative support; experience in a non-profit or social services setting preferred.
· Familiarity with CIRTS or other human services database systems is a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
· Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
· Strong communication skills and a commitment to serving elderly populations.
