We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and reporting at a dynamic organization in Miramar Beach, Florida. Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to support business growth.

• Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and billing functions to ensure efficient operations.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and general ledger entries, maintaining financial integrity.

• Implement and optimize accounting software systems, including Yardi, to enhance efficiency.

• Supervise property accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

• Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and execute financial strategies.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced accounting staff.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support organizational objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing financial close processes and producing accurate financial reports.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, account reconciliation, and balance sheet account management.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, with experience in Yardi highly preferred.
• Background in property accounting is strongly desired.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.
