Our client, a well-established leader in the food production industry, is hiring a Financial Analyst to join their brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Deerfield Beach.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting a major systems transition while helping strengthen financial processes and data integrity across the organization.
Position Overview
The Financial Analyst will support the implementation of a new financial system by ensuring data accuracy, identifying process improvements, and minimizing future audit risks. This role will work cross-functionally to evaluate current financial workflows, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to support a smooth and compliant transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Preparation & Integrity
- Clean, validate, and organize financial data for migration into the new system
- Ensure accuracy and completeness to reduce audit risk
Process Analysis & Optimization
- Compare current financial processes with future-state system requirements
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance risks
- Recommend and help implement process improvements
Financial & Data Analysis
- Analyze large datasets to generate meaningful insights and reports
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvements
- Support management with data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- 2 to 4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role
- Strong experience in Financial Modeling
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP implementations or system transitions is a plus
