Outside Sales Representative – Compact Equipment

A growing equipment dealer is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to expand and support customer relationships throughout the Ocala/North Central FL region.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop Customer Relationships: Build strong partnerships with contractors, landscapers, utilities, and small businesses by understanding their needs and recommending the right equipment solutions.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Manage an assigned territory, nurture existing accounts, prospect new clients, and consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Showcase Equipment: Conduct on‐site demonstrations, product walk‐arounds, and hands‐on presentations of compact equipment and attachments.
  • Leverage Market Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and pricing to provide value‐driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate Cross‐Functionally: Work closely with rental, service, and parts teams to ensure a seamless and supportive customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience (construction, equipment, industrial, or related industries preferred)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly
  • Self‐motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a territory with autonomy
  • Proficient with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
  • Acceptable driving record and willingness to travel locally
  • A competitive, energetic professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships
