Trauma Neurosurgeon MD/DO - Ocala, FL

• Board certified / board eligible in neurosurgery
• Spine fellowship trained and experience in trauma neurosurgery required and must be able to perform complex spine surgery
• The incoming provider will focus mainly on trauma neurosurgery (Hospital-based, Under the trauma department, managing neuro trauma alerts, Trauma consults, manage follow-up clinic, Participate in peer review, program improvement, trauma center survey verification/designation, and quality rounds)
• Share the month with another dedicated trauma neurosurgeon with APP support.

Hospital’s trauma program is the area’s only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center servicing 5 counties and over 1M residents. It is also a teaching hospital for the University of Central Florida
