Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role is integral to managing financial operations for our growing, multi-entity organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about maintaining accurate financial reporting, compliance, and scalable accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Handle multi-entity accounting, including consolidations, intercompany transactions, and eliminations.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with auditors and assist with tax filings and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to leadership and FP& A teams to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement automation solutions.
• Maintain robust internal controls and documentation to support organizational growth.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, or high-growth industries.
• Expertise in multi-entity accounting and consolidation processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP standards.
• Proficiency with accounting systems; experience with fintech or SaaS platforms is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
