Position Summary:

The Human Resources Intern will directly assist the Vice President & Chief HR Officer, and the Director of Human Resources with a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, training, recruiting, onboarding/orientation, and employee engagement. Through the assigned projects, the Human Resources Intern will have the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the Human Resources function, as well as knowledge about the health insurance industry.

The Human Resources Intern will also collaborate with administration, finance, and IT staff to ensure assigned projects are completed on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Researches and creates career paths for various CCP positions.
  2. Works with department leaders to define the progression of each role in their department.
  3. Helps leaders identify and define the skills and qualifications required for each position at each level to build success profiles.
  4. Researches and analyzes labor market information, identifying trends and providing recommendations for the development of career paths.
  5. Reviews and reformats job descriptions, as required.
  6. Collaborates with Communications, Marketing, Recruiting, Training, Administration, and others while working on assigned project(s).
  7. Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in the Human Resources field.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail

Work Schedule:

Community Care Plan is currently following a hybrid work schedule. The company reserves the right to change the work schedules based on the company needs
