About the Opportunity

A rapidly growing insurance technology firm headquartered in Miami is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead its human resources function during an exciting period of expansion. The company is on track to double in size by the end of 2026 through strategic acquisitions and mergers within the same industry, offering a unique opportunity to build and scale a people-first HR infrastructure from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, advising on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Develop and implement scalable HR policies, processes, and systems to support rapid growth and multi-entity integration.
  • Lead full-cycle HR functions including employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, and compliance.
  • Oversee recruiting and onboarding efforts to ensure a consistent, engaging candidate and employee experience across multiple locations.
  • Partner with leadership to drive culture alignment, engagement initiatives, and professional development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage and mentor a small but growing HR team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Support due diligence and post-merger integration of newly acquired companies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 4 years in a director-level role.
  • Proven experience scaling HR operations in high-growth or M&A-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Hands-on, strategic, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
