We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our smoke shop team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about tobacco, vapes, glassware, and related products, or is eager to learn quickly. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized store. MUST BE 21+ TO APPLY.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in selecting products.
- Answer questions and provide accurate information about products, promotions, and store policies.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash/card payments accurately.
- Restock shelves, maintain product displays, and ensure the store is tidy.
- Verify customer age and follow all laws regarding tobacco and vape sales.
- Track inventory and notify management of low stock.
- Follow store policies and maintain a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Must be 21+ to sell tobacco products.
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including evenings/weekends).
- Knowledge of smoke shop products (cigars, vapes, CBD, hookah, etc.) a plus, but training will be provided.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for stocking purposes.
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time or part-time shifts available.
- Pay: Hourly
