About the Role:

The Housekeeping Agent - Self Inspect/Relief Housekeeping Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall presentation of the Roami Hub – Habitat facility. This position ensures that all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and comfort, directly impacting guest satisfaction and operational excellence. The role involves conducting thorough self-inspections to guarantee quality control and stepping in as a relief supervisor to support and lead the housekeeping team during peak times or absences. The successful candidate will balance hands-on cleaning duties with supervisory responsibilities, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Ultimately, this role contributes to creating a welcoming and pristine environment that enhances the reputation and success of the facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services, preferably in a hospitality environment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Basic supervisory or leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping or related fields.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service principles.
  • Certification in hospitality or facility management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using housekeeping management software or tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning and inspecting of guest rooms and public areas to meet established quality standards.
  • Conduct self-inspections and inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols.
  • Serve as a relief supervisor by overseeing housekeeping staff, managing schedules, and providing guidance during supervisory absences.
