Main Responsibilities Mastering the Warehouse:

  • Drive accurate and efficient warehouse activities from receiving to shipping of products.
  • Ensure stock precision with thorough and consistent cycle counts and audits.
  • Maximize warehouse efficiency by optimizing layout and workflow.

Cultivating Delivery Excellence:

  • Design delivery routes to achieve timely, economical distribution solutions.
  • Mentor drivers to uphold top-tier delivery punctuality, safety, and customer interaction.
  • Monitor and support drivers' adherence to DOT guidelines and company directives.
  • Mitigate delivery disruptions such as lateness or vehicle issues swiftly.

Leadership in Motion:

  • Inspire and supervise a team of 15-20 members, promoting a supportive work climate.
  • Evaluate performance, confront challenges, and provide developmental training.
  • Align workforce levels with business demand through scheduling oversight.

Safety First Approach:

  • Champion a culture of safety, adhering strictly to OSHA and in-house policies.
  • Ensure accurate documentations of driver logs and vehicle checks.
  • Reinforce protocols that reduce risk and assure quality in product handling.

Communicating for Success:

  • Use KPIs to measure and convey operational success, like delivery punctuality.
  • Collaborate across departments to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate insights to company leaders regarding operational excellence opportunities.

Qualifications Professional Experience:

  • 3–5 years in a supervisory position within warehouse logistics or related fields.
  • Experience with driver management over at least 2 years, skilled in logistical coordination.

Academic Credentials:

  • High school diploma; additional logistics education is a bonus.

Expertise:

  • Exceptional leadership skills for managing diverse teams effectively.
  • Competence with WMS and logistics software platforms.
  • Strong grasp of DOT compliance and vehicle upkeep.
  • Renowned for problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
  • Responsive to dynamic, fast-paced operational challenges.
  • Knowledge in safety standards and inventory methodologies.

Work Environment:

  • Physically adept at lifting up to 50 lbs. in a warehouse setting.
  • Willingness to adjust work hours for operational peaks.

Advantageous Background

  • Specialization in fence and shutter wholesale distribution.
  • Experience with GPS or fleet management.
  • Success in elevating warehouse or delivery efficiencies.
