Job Details

  • Hourly Rate: $58/hr
  • Per Diem: No perdiem
  • Completion Bonus: $150/month
  • Pay: Weekly

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week - Tuesday through Saturday - OT Expected

Project Scope

The construction safety Coordinator will oversee safety for GC, overseeing all trades on a commercial construction build site.

Qualifications

Candidates must have the following requirements:

  • BCSP certification must be CHST
  • First Aid/CPR certified

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver safety training and orientation for all employees, subcontractors, and new hires.
  • Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting related to safety performance, incidents, and compliance.
  • Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization

Skills & KnowledgeSkills:

  • Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)
  • Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
  • Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
