Job Details
- Hourly Rate: $58/hr
- Per Diem: No perdiem
- Completion Bonus: $150/month
- Pay: Weekly
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week - Tuesday through Saturday - OT Expected
Project Scope
The construction safety Coordinator will oversee safety for GC, overseeing all trades on a commercial construction build site.
Qualifications
Candidates must have the following requirements:
- BCSP certification must be CHST
- First Aid/CPR certified
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training and orientation for all employees, subcontractors, and new hires.
- Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards.
- Maintain documentation and reporting related to safety performance, incidents, and compliance.
- Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization
Skills & KnowledgeSkills:
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)
- Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
- Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
