Hiring a Propeller Technician to perform inspection, maintenance, repair, balancing, and overhaul support for piston and turboprop propeller systems. A&P preferred but not required.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain propellers, hubs, governors, spinners, and pitch‐control systems
- Remove/install propellers; perform rigging, static and dynamic balancing, and corrosion control
- Support on‐wing repairs and off‐site propeller recovery/turnarounds
- Follow manufacturer manuals (Hartzell, McCauley, Dowty, etc.) and implement ADs/SBs as required
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands‐on propeller maintenance experience or general aircraft maintenance/experience (inspection, balancing, repairs)
- Knowledge of piston and turboprop propeller systems and manufacturer procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills; able to perform physical rigging and torque work
- Proficient with maintenance documentation and regulatory compliance
- Valid driver’s license; passport preferred
Preferred
- A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) certificate — preferred but optional
- Experience with propeller overhaul processes, blade repairs, borescope, and NDT methods
