Are you a strategic finance leader who thrives at the intersection of technology, business value, and executive decision-making? We’re seeking a Senior Director of IT Finance & Governance to partner with senior leadership and ensure every technology dollar delivers measurable impact.
In this highly visible role, you will lead financial strategy, portfolio governance, and performance management for a $200M+ enterprise technology investment portfolio, bringing rigor, transparency, and ROI discipline to how technology enables growth and transformation.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Own enterprise-wide IT financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range strategy.
- Guide capital prioritization, investment governance, and ROI analysis to align spend with business objectives.
- Partner with the CIO, COO, and business leaders to evaluate business cases and balance run / grow / transform investments.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Establish and lead best-in-class IT governance and performance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, PMI, etc.).
- Oversee risk management, audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
- Drive disciplined portfolio intake, prioritization, and stage-gate governance.
Portfolio & Performance Management
- Lead demand planning, capacity modeling, capital pacing, and benefits realization.
- Build executive dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards that clearly communicate financial performance and business value.
- Enable data-driven decisions through standardized metrics, reporting, and forecasting.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee Procure-to-Pay, contract and vendor financial management, and asset management.
- Streamline and automate financial and governance processes to improve speed, accuracy, and insight.
- Lead cross-functional teams across IT finance, portfolio, compliance, and performance analytics.
Leadership & Partnership
- Build and inspire high-performing teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, translating complex data into actionable strategy.
- Strengthen collaboration across IT, Finance, Audit, Legal, and Business Operations.
What You Bring
- 12+ years of progressive leadership in IT Finance, Governance, Portfolio Management, or Technology Strategy.
- Proven experience managing $100M+ technology budgets and large capital portfolios.
- Deep expertise in FP&A, portfolio management, KPI frameworks, risk & compliance, and value realization.
- A track record of building executive dashboards and performance models that drive results.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and change leadership skills.
- Experience in hospitality, travel, or consumer services is a plus.
