Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook (PM) to join our culinary team at our well-renowned hotel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position is responsible for preparing and cooking evening meals for our guests, ensuring each dish is crafted to perfection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and guidelines, maintaining our hotel’s high culinary standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure a smooth and efficient dining service during evenings.
- Assist in the daily preparation and planning of menu items, coordinating with the Executive Chef for any special requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with inventory management.
- Accommodate special dietary requests and adjust orders as requested by guests while adhering to nutritional and quality standards.
- Participate in continuous training to enhance cooking skills and maintain culinary excellence.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
