Description
We are seeking a senior leader with strong analytical and modeling expertise to oversee financial projections, product analysis, and long-term risk evaluation for a portfolio of protection and savings products. This role supports strategic initiatives and works closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial performance and business decision-making.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the development and refinement of financial and risk models for long-term products.
- Oversee pricing frameworks, profitability reviews, and assumption updates.
- Conduct experience studies and support forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with product, finance, and investment teams to evaluate business strategies.
- Support compliance, governance, and reporting requirements.
- Mentor analysts and promote best practices in modeling and documentation.
- Participate in strategic projects related to product enhancements and financial performance.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry, ideally within life insurance, annuities, long-term protection, or savings products.
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required; Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or related field.
- Experience with modeling tools or actuarial/financial projection platforms.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to leadership teams.
- Prior leadership or team oversight experience preferred.
