Sales Development Representative (SDR) → Sales Representative
Job Description
Job Description
100% IN-OFFICE POSITION | ☎ High-Volume Phone Sales | Clear Career Path to Sales Representative
About Skyline Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Skyline Pharmaceuticals Inc. is a growing pharmaceutical distribution company serving hospitals, pharmacies, surgery centers, and healthcare providers nationwide. We operate with a performance-first culture, promote from within, and reward individuals who consistently produce results.
About the Role: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
(100% In-Office)
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is the entry point into Skyline’s sales organization and is designed for individuals looking to build a career in sales, not just a job.
As an SDR, you will be the first touchpoint in our sales process — identifying opportunities, qualifying accounts, and setting up the sales team for success. This is a high-energy, in-office role with structured training, hands-on mentorship, and a clearly defined path to becoming a Sales Representative.
Top-performing SDRs can advance into a Sales Representative role with higher earning potential and greater responsibility.
What You’ll Do as an SDR (In-Office)
- Make 75–125 outbound calls per day to prospective clients, including:
-
- Hospitals
- Surgery centers
- Dermatology offices
- Fire departments
- Cancer centers
- Work 100% in-office, managing high-volume outbound prospecting
- Identify decision-makers and qualify accounts
- Generate and pass qualified leads to experienced sales representatives
- Collect and document key account data to support deal closures
- Track all activity, notes, and opportunities in the CRM
- Rotate through different account types and regions
- Participate in sales training, role-playing, and presentation sessions
- Collaborate closely with managers to refine your pitch and improve performance
- Follow up consistently to maximize every opportunity
- Occasionally participate in field ride-alongs with Sales Managers to observe outside sales activity
SDR Compensation (In-Office Role)
Base Pay
- $20.00 per hour
- Paid for all approved, in-office working hours
Bonus Structure
- $20.00 bonus for each closed lead
-
- A “closed lead” is a qualified opportunity generated by the SDR that results in a completed sale by the sales team
- Bonuses are paid in addition to hourly pay
- No cap on bonuses
Example:
160 hours/month × $20 = $3,200
40 closed leads × $20 = $800
Total Monthly Compensation: $4,000
SDR → Sales Representative Timeline
The SDR role is intended as a development track, not a permanent position for full-time, career-track candidates.
Expected Timeframe
- Most successful SDRs transition into a Sales Representative role within 4–6 months
- Advancement is performance-based, not automatic
- High performers may advance sooner; others may require the full 6 months
Role Continuation & Exceptions
- SDRs who do not demonstrate progress toward Sales Representative readiness within the 4–6 month window may not continue in the SDR role, unless previously discussed and approved by management
- Candidates who are finishing school, unable to work full-time, or have other approved scheduling limitations may remain in the SDR role beyond the 4–6 month window, provided performance remains strong
