Moorings Park is looking for a Move in Coordinator. The Move in Coordinator facilitates the Independent Living & Assisted Living (if
applicable) resident move-ins to our Moorings Park Community.
Contributions:
- Meets all future residents prior to the scheduled move-in to assess their move-in needs.
- Prepares a new resident package to deliver and review with all new residents. Package shall include at a minimum, resident handbook, emergency egress placard, hurricane preparedness guidelines.
- Prepare and utilize a standardized checklist approved by the AED/ED that includes all necessary steps to support a new resident on campus
- Coordinates resident move-in/out schedules and provides orientation and final walk through.
- Provides vendor lists, supports with coordination and planning of the actual move including space planning and associated services.
- Conducts pickup key meeting and follows move in checklist.
- Provides residents with a basic understanding of the mechanical features and appliances of their apartment.
- Utilizes an established formalized welcoming program and introduces new residents to the neighborhood website, RESY reservation program, WorxHub, and Informacast
- Administers a standardized satisfaction survey with new residents at the 45-day mark and follows up after move-in by continuing to orient the new resident/s to the community.
- Follows an established communication process to notify department supervisors when a move-in or move-out date has been scheduled.
- Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
- Obtain knowledge and demonstrate the principles of Moorings Park, person directed care and successful aging philosophies and their inherent core values of commitment, respect, compassion, dedication, teamwork, and quality.
- Team member will support, actively participate, and act in accordance with the principles of the Moorings Park service culture and be familiar with and fluent in the language and service pillars of Moorings.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years college or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a move-in coordinator or other relevant experiences.
- Ability to interact with partners, residents, guests, and team members in a professional manner.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Strong assessment skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required.
- Work efforts reflect a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Solicits resident/family feedback to understand the needs of the resident and the community
- Advocates for service excellence within the center and influences others to take action.
- Displays responsibility by taking ownership of quality care. Shows dedication to enriching the lives of our residents through empathy and compassion.
