What This Role Is…

As a Senior Digital Product Design Manager, the primary function of this position is to lead and contribute to the design of CITY’s Digital Products. You’ll collaborate with Technology, Marketing, eCommerce, and Product Management to deliver innovative, intuitive, and brand-elevated experiences across all digital touchpoints. In addition to designing, Senior Digital Product Design Manager is responsible for guiding and coaching the Digital Product Design team, helping each member grow in their craft and reach their full potential. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Creative department at CITY Furniture.

Location: Remote - South Florida based

Department/Sub-Department: Creative/ Core Creative

Salary: Starting at $105,000 (DOE)

What You’ll Do*…

As a Senior Digital Product Design Manager, your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Strategy & Planning
    • Partner with business and technology teams to translate customer needs into simple, intuitive design solutions.
    • Influence product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization with a design-centered perspective.
    • Advocate for the Customer using human-centered design methods, research, and testing.
    • Ensure CITY’s digital experiences meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and reflect inclusive design practices.
    • Stay current with design trends, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Design & Delivery
    • Contribute directly to product design work, from early concepts through high-fidelity execution.
    • Own and evolve CITY’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all digital experiences.
    • Conduct research, usability testing, persona development, and data analysis to capture insights that inform design decisions and validate solutions.
    • Facilitate workshops, whiteboard sessions, and discovery activities to uncover opportunities and align stakeholders.
    • Deliver design solutions that reflect CITY’s brand, elevate the customer experience, and connect to measurable product and business outcomes.
    • Translate design concepts into actionable specifications for development teams, ensuring handoffs include the clarity, assets, and documentation needed for seamless implementation.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Mentor and coach designers, providing career development, constructive feedback, and growth opportunities.
    • Establish and track KPIs for the team to empower development, measure impact, and ensure alignment with departmental and business goals.
    • Promote adoption and best practices for CITY’s design system across the team.
    • Conduct Individual Development Plans (IDPs), retros, and team check-ins.
    • Develop and implement standards, processes, and best practices that drive efficiency and quality.
    • Influence senior stakeholders through compelling storytelling that communicates the business impact of design.
    • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and supportive team culture.

What We’re Looking For…

  • Competencies and Job Specific Skills
    • Effective Communicator
    • Deep expertise in UX/UI and digital product design.
    • Strong grasp of human-centered design, usability, and accessibility principles.
    • Proficiency in Figma and modern design/collaboration tools (e.g., FigJam, Adobe CC, Miro).
    • Experience evolving and maintaining a design system.
    • Skilled in research, user testing, and analyzing data to capture insights that feed design decisions and deliver measurable results.
    • Clear understanding of how to develop personas and apply them effectively to guide design strategy and execution.
    • Ability to align with technology needs and deliver clear specifications, prototypes, and assets that enable development teams to build efficiently and accurately.

What’s Required…

  • Education & Work Experience:
    • Bachelor’s in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or related field a plus but not required.
    • 5+ years of UX/UI or Digital Product Design experience.
    • 4+ years leading design teams.
    • Experience developing, contributing to or evolving a design system.
    • A strong portfolio of work is required. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be reviewed.
  • Work Environment & Schedule:
    • Monday through Friday
    • 5-10% travel to Corporate office in Tamarac, FL and/or to attend events
