We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Florida. This is a ground floor opportunity with a new location, offering the chance to shape our regional operation and grow into a leadership role as the business expands. The role focuses on driving sales in the packaging and produce industries, building strong client relationships, expanding market share, and delivering tailored solutions. This is a remote position with collaboration across internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and engage potential customers through research, cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing tailored solutions and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Deliver presentations, participate in trade shows (e.g., IFPA, CPMA), and negotiate deals to close sales.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, track leads, and provide regular sales reporting.
  • Conduct market research, monitor competitor activity, and leverage insights to grow business.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Market Expansion & Strategy

  • Support regional market strategies and provide insights on trends, customer needs, and opportunities.
  • Contribute to branch development, including staffing, infrastructure, and operational processes.

Leadership Growth

  • Demonstrate leadership potential, mentor future team members, and promote company values.
  • Contribute to business decisions, team development, and operational improvements.
  • Build credibility and influence with peers, clients, and management through results and initiative.

Qualifications

  • Experience in packaging or produce industries with proven B2B sales success.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership potential and ambition to advance into management roles.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally; passport required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • MBA or advanced business education preferred.

Working Conditions

Standard 37.5-hour work week with flexibility for business needs, trade shows, and client visits. Remote position with regular travel within Florida and occasional international travel.
