Job Title: Business Development Manager - Healthcare TPA
Position Overview: The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building, and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for sales and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify New Business Opportunities:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and market trends.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the company’s customer base and increase market share.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Conduct outbound calls to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate and close business deals that meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Collaboration and Team Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the business development team.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on business development activities, performance metrics, and results.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and improve business outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
