Location: Based in Fort Lauderdale or Miami | Travel Required Across Portfolio

About the Role:
Youll be the driving force behind sales and marketing across a growing portfolio of hotelspartnering closely with General Managers, revenue leaders, and property-level sales teams to develop, execute, and elevate multi-property strategies that deliver results. This is a high-impact, multi-layered leadership role where your ideas will shape market positioning and your mentorship will shape teams.
What Youll Be Doing:
Lead with Strategy:
- Architect and activate sales plans that deliver results across multiple properties (corporate, group, government, and leisure).
- Navigate brand standards while customizing approaches for local demand and performance gaps.
- Own quarterly business reviews and align stakeholders around revenue goals.
Coach and Cultivate Talent:
- Mentor on-property Directors of Sales, helping elevate individual and team performance.
- Create a culture of accountability, growth, and shared wins across the region.
- Support succession planning and help identify next-gen sales talent.
Own the Market:
- Deepen relationships with top accountscorporate, sports, government, and associations.
- Represent the area within industry circles, local chambers, and CVBs.
- Step in where needed for site tours, closing support, and strategic pitches.
Drive Performance:
- Analyze market share, booking pace, and RevPAR trendsthen act on them.
- Oversee sales forecasting, budget planning, and revenue strategy.
- Pinpoint underperforming areas and deploy targeted action plans to correct course.
Champion Marketing:
- Guide local promotions and brand-aligned marketing initiatives.
- Ensure social, email, and partnership efforts support area visibility and conversions.
- Keep messaging sharp, strategic, and on-brand.
Stay Close to the Business:
- Conduct property visits and participate in hotel leadership meetings.
- Contribute to broader strategy discussionscapex, staffing, planning, etc.
- Help with new hotel integrations, account recovery efforts, and special projects.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of multi-property or area hotel sales leadership experience
- Strong command of the South Florida market and its demand drivers
- Proven success leading teams and delivering growth
- Proficiency in CRM tools, brand systems, and reporting platforms (e.g., Delphi, Cvent)
- A balance of analytical thinking and relationship-driven leadership
- Willingness to travel across properties regularly
