Bookkeeper (Senior Level)
Location: Hollywood, FL - On-site
Salary: Up to $90,000, commensurate with experience
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a growing and dynamic organization in the Medicare supplies / Medicare manufacturing space. This is a key role for someone who is confident, organized, and experienced in managing full-cycle bookkeeping in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and preferably Acumatica, along with a solid understanding of inventory, compliance, and reporting within regulated healthcare or manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including AP, AR, bank and credit card reconciliations

Maintain accurate general ledger and month-end close processes

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Track and reconcile inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS)

Support Medicare-related accounting, including documentation, compliance, and audits

Work closely with management on cash flow tracking, budgeting, and forecasting

Prepare records for CPA review, tax filings, and external audits

Ensure accuracy and consistency across multiple entities (if applicable)

Improve and maintain internal accounting controls and processes
Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience

Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)

Experience handling inventory and manufacturing accounting

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial records

Strong communication skills and professionalism
Preferred / Plus Experience

Experience in Medicare supplies, DME, healthcare, or Medicare manufacturing

Hands-on experience with Acumatica (major plus)

Experience working with CPAs, auditors, or regulatory bodies

Understanding of healthcare or Medicare compliance requirements
