Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Support the Revenue Management team by delivering data-driven insights, performance reporting, and strategic analyses that inform pricing, deployment, and broader commercial decisions. This role plays an important role in translating data into practical insights, supporting efforts to enhance revenue performance across the fleet.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in analyzing booking trends, demand patterns, and historical performance to provide input for pricing, deployment, and promotional strategies.
- Support strategic projects such as itinerary planning, segmentation modeling, capacity optimization, and Revenue Management System (RMS) calibration improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of seasonal pricing strategies, demand curve analyses, and postmortem performance reviews.
- Maintain and update dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports to track revenue trends, pricing effectiveness, and booking activity.
- Summarize findings from large datasets into clear reports and presentations for use by commercial team members.
- Assist with identifying reasons for differences in forecasted versus actual revenue and help document potential corrective actions.
- Partner closely with Pricing, Yield, Marketing, Sales, and Business Analytics teams to share information and support tactical initiatives.
- Provide analytical support for campaign tracking, pricing tests, and reviews of promotional performance as directed.
- Assist with ad -hoc reporting requests and scenario modeling for finance and executive teams.
- Work with data science and IT teams to help improve data availability and support enhancements to pricing model inputs.
- Identify and suggest opportunities to automate routine tasks and improve data accuracy.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when required.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 years of experience in Revenue Management, Pricing Strategy, or Commercial Analytics - preferably within cruise, travel, or hospitality.
COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with Revenue Management Systems (e.g., PROS, Sabre, IDeaS) and booking platforms.
- Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to support multiple priorities.
