Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our consultancy team on a contract basis in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This position offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to work during the day, night, or weekends based on your availability. As a key member of the team, you will play an essential role in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in all bookkeeping activities.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal records.
• Utilize QuickBooks to record transactions and generate financial reports.
• Assist with the implementation of new systems or processes as required.
• Prepare and maintain organized documentation for all financial activities.
• Support the team with financial analysis and reporting tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Address discrepancies and resolve issues related to financial transactions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding financial updates.• Proven experience in bookkeeping with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
