Robert Half's Permanent Placement Division is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee all aspects of purchasing and vendor negotiations for our client located in the Sarasota area!
This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage budgets, control costs, and ensure the smooth acquisition of materials and services. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in procurement and a proactive approach to managing risks and market trends.
Responsibilities:
• Sourcing pricing quotes from vendors and suppliers to gain favorable terms and pricing on top-of-the-line products
• Establish and maintain networks of subcontractors and vendors to guarantee uninterrupted flow of organizational goods
• Develop SOPs related to procurement procedures and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Create and issue purchase orders while supporting managers in addressing contract specifications and necessary adjustments.
• Develop and manage company spend, ensuring financial efficiency and cost-effectiveness in purchasing decisions.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of procurement software systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead procurement functions efficiently.
• Proficiency in analyzing market trends and managing cost controls.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
