RemX is seeking a Trip Operations Specialist for our client. This role plays are critical in ensuring seamless transportation experiences for members. This position combines proactive trip planning with real-time issue resolution, requiring strong organizational skills, creative problem-solving, and compassionate communication.

The specialist is responsible for assigning appropriate drivers and vehicles to upcoming trips, monitoring live dashboards for potential disruptions, and intervening when trips deviate from plan—all while maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism.

Seeking someone with prior logistics, dispatching, or scheduling work experience.

• Title: Trip Operations Specialist
• Pay: $17 an hour
• Location: Onsite (Plantation, FL 33322)
• Hours: 8am-3am (8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, must be flexible to work any 8-hour shift)

Duties:

• Review and assign drivers and vehicles to upcoming trips based on member needs (e.g., wheelchair van, gurney van, sedan).
• Ensure all trips within the designated timeframe are covered with suitable transportation providers.
• Handle last-minute trip requests by securing drivers and vehicles under tight timelines.
• Reschedule medical appointments when transportation cannot be arranged.
• Continuously monitor dashboards to identify trips experiencing delays or issues.
• Dispatch drivers for return trips, ensuring timely pickups and smooth transitions.
• Maintain contact with members until issues are resolved and transportation is confirmed.
• Continuously update schedules to reflect changes, cancellations, or reassignments.

Experience:

• Prior experience in logistics, transportation planning, dispatching, or scheduling (Required).

Skills:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to remain calm and empathetic under pressure.
• Proactive and self-directed work ethic.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics, transportation, or customer service is a plus.
