Requirements:
What the Day Really Looks Like
- Teach & Inspire. Deliver humane education programs to children and adults, adapting content for schools, camps, civic groups, and community audiences.
- Build & Grow. Develop curricula, outreach materials, presentations, and reports that tell the story of HSSC’s impact.
- Lead with Heart. Oversee the pet therapy program and community pet food pantry, ensuring respectful, dignified, and humane service delivery.
- Partner & Represent. Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners—and occasionally bring approved animal ambassadors along for the lesson.
- Organize the Big Picture. Support outreach-related logistics, calendars, reporting, and coordination with Advancement leadership.
- Stay Flexible. Most weeks are Monday–Friday, but community events, weekends, or evenings may call your name.

- Full-time, exempt/salaried position
- 40 hours per week; occasional evenings and weekends required
- Department: Advancement | Reports to Senior Director of Advancement
