We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Miami, Florida. This is a Contract position within the non-profit sector, offering an opportunity to support essential HR functions and contribute to organizational success. The selected candidate will assist with recruitment, scheduling, and administrative tasks while ensuring efficiency in daily operations.


Responsibilities:

• Coordinate interview scheduling and manage candidate communications to ensure a seamless recruitment process.

• Review resumes and conduct preliminary screenings to identify candidates with relevant experience.

• Assist with onboarding processes, including scheduling background checks and verifying documentation.

• Manage scheduling tasks using Outlook, ensuring timely updates and effective communication.

• Support HRIS usage and electronic file management to maintain accurate employee records.

• Provide administrative support for audits and compliance-related activities.

• Collaborate with team members to improve recruitment strategies and streamline operations.

• Learn and utilize Ultipro software as needed to support HR functions.

• Maintain a detail-oriented and budget-conscious approach in all responsibilities.

• Previous experience in human resources or administrative roles, preferably in a non-profit setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and communication.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and electronic file management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to review resumes and conduct pre-screening interviews effectively.
• Willingness to learn new software, such as Ultipro.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, if needed, while maintaining productivity.
