Summary: Offers support to clients who are or may be pregnant. Staff will meet with clients one-on-one to provide information, resources, and referrals, depending on clients' situation and perform administrative tasks as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accepts and promotes the Church's teaching on the sacredness of each human life. Specifically, regarding abortion contraception, and abortifacient drugs.
- Is familiar with and promotes the mission of Catholic Charities and Women's Pregnancy Solutions (WPS) Mobile Unit.
- Responds appropriately to all contact inquiries during office hours.
- Reminder text messages.
- Assist with clients follow up calls.
- Manages Life Lead App, as well as other platforms related to client inquiries.
- Assist with typing, computer work, and data entry, as needed.
- Must be punctual and Interact well with other staff, volunteers, program team, and clients.
- Signs in and out at the beginning and end of the shift via Ekyros center management system and Paylocity, the Catholic Charities payroll system.
- Understands Catholic Charities policy regarding client rights and responsibilities, as well as WPS policy regarding client privacy and confidentiality.
- Understands and follows Catholic Charities, and Mobile Unit Policy and Procedures
- Conducts case management sessions with clients, utilizing all tools, information, and resources available to guide the sessions and assess the clients, current situations.
- Understands the client procedure and completes follow-up calls in a timely manner.
- Exhibits professional telephone manners, people skills, confidentiality.
- Is familiar with the abuse reporting policy for minors.
- Maintains data for parenting classes and other similar projects.
- Maintains orderly client files and records.
- Assists with data entry.
- Assist with the daily operations of the office.
- Submit daily and monthly data along with the forms needed to the Program Director and relevant staff.
- Uses a gentle and loving approach with sensitivity and understanding of diversity and multicultural issues when interacting with clients and training volunteers.
- Attends all in-service trainings offered by Catholic Charities, Mobile Unit.
- Responds favorably to and acts on constructive criticism.
- Seeks out supervision when needing assistance.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Experience working or volunteering at a pregnancy care center or similar program serving/educating at-risk population; previous experience with an anti-abortion advocacy program preferred.
- Bilingual language skills preferred (Spanish/Creole).
- Ability to forge a mutually respectful partnership with their supervisor and co-workers.
- Ability to form professional and productive relationships with clients and provide education.
- Catholic Charities employees will be provided with the training to develop an understanding of and sensitivity to cultural differences. This sensitivity includes but is not limited to specific cultural and ethnic groups, religious differences, various socio-economic groups, and those living alternative lifestyles.

- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook for email

- Required to hold a pro-life position on life issues.
- Possess a valid Florida Driver's License with excellent driving record.
- Must appreciate and respect the necessity for confidentiality/privacy.
Physical Requirements:
- Job demands may require extended and flexible hours from time to time.
- Ability to work closely with others and alone.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Diocese of Palm Beach to fulfill job requirements.
- Willingness to respond to emergency situations without notice.
- Willingness to prioritize and respond to the needs of potential clients.
- Occasional light lifting and carrying of under 15 pounds.
- Occasional moderate carrying and lifting of 15 – 44 pounds.
- Frequent use of both hands and fingers (i.e., typing).
- Frequent extended periods of sitting.
- Occasional periods of standing, kneeling, and climbing.
- Occasional ability of minimal hearing (i.e., driving) and routine hearing (i.e., listening to others in conversation).
- Occasional time spent working closely with others.
