Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Credit Balance AR Analyst III to join our team in Land O' Lakes, Florida. In this role, you will focus on analyzing and resolving credit balances within accounts receivable while contributing to efficient financial operations. This is a Contract position within the healthcare industry, offering the chance to work with advanced systems and collaborate with various teams.
Responsibilities:
• Investigate and resolve credit balances by identifying duplicate payments and determining their root causes.
• Ensure vendors are accurately set up in the accounts payable system to facilitate refunds.
• Monitor refund activities and reconcile credit balance data between patient accounting systems and accounts payable systems.
• Utilize systems such as Patcom, Fusion, and Beacon to manage and analyze financial transactions.
• Collaborate with the data analytics team to create dashboards and graphs using tools like R.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure alignment with general ledger accounts.
• Work closely with accounting and treasury teams to address financial discrepancies and improve processes.
• Analyze patient billing data to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on credit balance activities and provide insights for process improvements.
• Manage SharePoint documentation related to accounts receivable and credit balance workflows.• Proficiency in accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Knowledge of medical billing and patient accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying and correcting duplicate payments and credit balances.
• Familiarity with tools like SharePoint and database applications such as Beacon and Qlikview.
• Ability to create dashboards and visualizations using R or similar tools.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage transaction-level data and reconcile discrepancies.
