Established ophthalmology ASC seeking self motivated experienced revenue cycle coordinator. This role is responsible for managing the financial aspects of patient care at the ASC. Ensures accurate billing, coding and claims processing for ophthalmic services. Also involves working with insurance providers, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing revenue cycle efficiency to maximize reimbursement.

• Monitor and coordinate entire revenue cycle including patient registration, insurance verification, billing, coding, claims submission, payment posting and collections
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of claims to maximize revenue and minimize denials
• Review and resolve claim rejections, denials and outstanding accounts receivable
• Work with insurance companies to verify coverage and appeal denied claims when necessary
• Collaborate with Administrator and Business Office Manager to improve billing accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and payer-specific regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
• MIPS experience preferred
• ASC Billing experience preferred
• Ophthalmology experience preferred
• Assist patients with billing inquiries and set up payment plans as needed
