Softrim is a Georgia-based technology services company founded in 2000 with a national client base and offices in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina.
Softrim has an opening for a seasoned Controller with a minimum of 6 years experience. This is a full-time, in-office position to replace the current Controller who is retiring later this year.
The Controller will be a hands-on senior manager responsible for the companys financial operations and reporting.Typical duties will include overseeing and executing day-to-day functions such as maintaining the G/L, A/P, A/R, and payroll,and having full responsibility for the financial statements. Primary accountabilities shall include cash flow management, budgeting, and mitigating financial risks. The candidate must possess strong customer skills to manage A/R days, invoice issues, and major project progress and variances.
The candidate should be skilled in assisting in strategic planning and forecasting along with the president and other staff members similar to the role of a CFO. The Controller will work closely with our outside CPA firm for audits, conformance to GAAP, and tax filings.
Experience with technology services (MSP) and construction project billing preferred.
