POSITION SUMMARY

Bartenders must work efficiently under pressure while maintaining exceptional service standards. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a polished appearance are essential.
Bartenders must be flexible with scheduling, willing to work additional hours when needed, and thrive in a team-oriented environment that supports the Club's elevated standards. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated, dependable, and highly personable. A minimum of 1 to 3 years of bartending experience in a high-profile service environment is required. Candidates must maintain open availability. Scheduling will align with operational requirements and may vary based on business demand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately take and input all food and to-go orders into the POS system
- Rotate stock and check expiration dates to maintain freshness and compliance
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile with usage reports
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, wastage, and breakage
- Oversee all beverage stock and bar inventory, including liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, and bar tools
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the standard sequence of service to ensure consistent, high-quality guest interactions
- Provide accurate checks and process payments with professionalism and courtesy
- Deliver food and drinks efficiently and in proper order according to service standard
- Heavy lifting and setup/arrangement of furniture is necessary to support event execution and restaurant reservations
- Design and develop unique and innovative cocktail recipes that reflect seasonal ingredients and trends.
- Curate and design visually appealing cocktail menus that enhance the overall aesthetic of the bar.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages with exceptional attention to detail and presentation.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend cocktails, and provide excellent customer service.
- Stay updated with industry trends, flavor pairings, and mixology techniques to continually innovate the cocktail offerings.
- Provides educational training and mentorship to team members on bar creations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Tips & Serve Safe Certification required (can be provided upon employment). • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for 8 hours. • Minimum age: 21.
EDUCATION
High School diploma preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years bartending experience in a club or hotel. Superior member service skills and ability to work under pressure.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds. • Long hours on feet may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- May include outdoor service with varied weather. • Moderate to high noise levels depending on events. Although Catering demands will require flexibility in working environments.
