Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our morning team. The ideal candidate will possess culinary expertise and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook for the AM shift, you will play a crucial role in crafting delicious breakfast and lunch dishes that meet our high standards for quality and presentation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring timeliness and attention to detail.
- Follow food safety regulations and protocols consistently.
- Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth service flow during breakfast and lunch hours.
- Participate in the receiving, inventory, and proper storage of products.
- Adapt to special dietary needs as required, without compromising flavor or quality.
- Continuously strive to learn and apply culinary techniques to enhance menu offerings.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a culinary environment.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene.
- Culinary school training preferred, but not required.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced setting and maintain composure under pressure.
