Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Entry Level

Compensation: $18/Hourly + Commission (OTE $60k)
Employment Type: Full-time (entry level)
Location: Hybrid, Orlando, FL (Mostly remote, with some in-office meetings/events)
Reports to: CEO

We’re looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) who’s eager to learn the fundamentals of sales, connect with potential clients, and help us grow. You’ll receive training, mentorship, and the chance to build a career in software consulting sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect & connect: Research potential clients and start conversations via phone, email, and LinkedIn.

  • Follow-up: Keep outreach consistent and move opportunities forward.

  • Pipeline maintenance: Update CRM daily, maintain accurate notes, next steps, and close dates.

  • Research & personalization: Tailor messaging to industry, role, and pain points; prepare call/email briefs.

  • Assist: Set meetings, coordinate calendars, and hand off qualified opportunities with context.

  • Reporting: Track activities (calls, emails, connects, meetings set) in spreadsheets/CRM; share weekly summaries.

  • Learn & iterate: Test subject lines, call openers, and cadences; document wins and lessons learned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Self-starter mindset: Comfortable setting goals, managing time, and pushing follow-ups without hand-holding.

  • Communication: Clear, concise writing; confident, friendly phone presence.

  • Organization: Strong attention to detail; reliable task tracking and note-taking.

  • Tools readiness: Comfortable with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel), email, calling tools, and CRMs (HubSpot preferred).

  • Coachability: Open to feedback; eager to practice scripts and improve quickly.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (recent graduates encouraged to apply).

Nice-to-Haves

  • Internship or 0-2 years in SDR/BDR/outbound role

  • Experience with sales engagement tools (e.g., HubSpot Sequences, Apollo, SalesLoft, Outreach)

  • Familiarity with basic KPIs (connect rate, reply rate, meetings set, SQLs)
