We are seeking a Tax, Trusts & Estates Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join a nationally recognized practice known for its excellence in wealth planning, tax advisory, and fiduciary services. This position can be based in DFW/Dallas, Wilmington DE, Baltimore MA, Miami FL, New York City, or Northern New Jersey

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement personalized estate plans aligned with client goals
  • Draft complex estate planning instruments (GRATs, SLATs, ILITs, QTIPs, charitable trusts, etc.)
  • Manage all aspects of estate and trust administration, including probate and fiduciary compliance
  • Advise on gift, estate, GST, and fiduciary income tax strategies, as well as succession planning
  • Collaborate with clients’ financial advisors, CPAs, and family members to ensure seamless, multi-disciplinary planning
  • Supervise or review the preparation of IRS Forms 706, 709, and 1041
  • Guide junior associates and paralegals while handling client-facing work


What You Bring

  • 3–6 years of experience in trusts & estates, tax, or private client services
  • J.D. and active bar admission in FL, NY, or NJ (based on office preference)
  • LL.M. in Taxation or CPA background highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of federal estate, gift, and income tax law
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and client advisory skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and with a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience with estate planning software (e.g., GEMS, WealthCounsel, HotDocs) is a plus


Compensation & Flexibility

  • Base salary range: $225,000 – $315,000, plus performance-based bonus
