We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Inventory and Procurement Specialist to streamline our purchasing, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient acquisition, tracking, and allocation of inventory, as well as handling on-demand purchases and pickups. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, possess excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate adaptability to dynamic shipping operations.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement:
    • Source and purchase crew and galley supplies, equipment, and materials required for company operations.
    • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best terms, pricing, and quality.
    • Set up, and maintain records in the system to support purchasing, pricing, and inventory management functions.
    • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
    • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring stock levels are optimized and accurately recorded.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and identify procurement needs.
    • Manage and allocate inventory to departments or projects based on operational requirements.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to forecast inventory needs and prevent stock shortages or surpluses.
    • Travel locally to purchase items, pick up orders, or address urgent procurement needs.
    • Ensure proper documentation and timely delivery of goods to the company.
    • Communicate effectively in English and Spanish when dealing with vendors, suppliers, and transport personnel.
    • Report regularly on inventory levels, purchasing trends, and operational efficiency.
    • Other duties as signed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelors degree in supply chain management or a related field preferred).
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with coworkers, vendors and crew members.
  • Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Valid drivers license and a reliable means of transportation for off-site duties.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lift and move moderately heavy items as needed.
